The World is Listening“ is the second digi-single from Akua Naru's upcoming album "The Journey Aflame"- set to be released on 7. Jan. 2011. This song is a homage to the power of the female voice in hip hop, and pays respect to those pioneering female artists who have often been overshadowed by their male counterparts. With this song, Naru encourages us to remember the ways in which these women have served as models of inspiration for many, and to address our need to support more female presence in hip hop. The song was produced by Germany's internationally acclaimed production duo JR & PH7, and remixed by Jay Baez.
