I have been playing since I was 7 years old. Playing professionally at 17 or 18 yrs and was an original member of Bobby Patterson and the Mustangs. I became nationally known after I released Sagittarius Black which is a collectors item. In 2002 I was nominated by the Texas Commission on the Arts to represent the state of Texas. Although I did not win, it was a new feather in my cap. In my professional years I have had the privileged to play backup for Dobbie Gray, Eddie Floyd, the Coasters, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Etta James, Freddie King, Z.Z. Hill and many others.
