Tom Peterson IS Black Hills Gold. He's survived a major heart attack and is finally releasing a record. His songs have been the soundtrack for South Dakota lives since the early 1970's. Albert and Gage from Austin, Texas even recorded an entire album of Tom's songs called "Dakota Lullaby", prompting blues Hall of Famer Marcia Ball to start singing "Say Yes To Love" in her live shows... But...it's Tom's uniquely emotional voice that carries these new compositions out into the world. A little Americana, a little hard country, some western swing, an epic folk ballad (The Muddy Muddy Mo), and some humor thrown in on "Global Warming" and "Iowa Driver". His stories are historically accurate right down to the opium dens that thrived in Old Deadwood.
