5.0 out of 5 stars Shades Of Blue: Forgotten Sixties Vocal Trio by Mike Trzciensky (April 8, 2001) I am a huge fan of the lesser known bands of the 1960s and even though I'm only 17, I know far more about this era than many who lived in it. One of the cd's that I happened to find by accident in an oldies rack was this. Everyone knows the lead-off number "Oh How Happy" from the many plays it has received on oldies radio stations, but even more stunning is the groups vocal wordplay on the minor hits "Happiness" and "Lonely Summer" plus "You Gave Piece Of Mind", "Millionaire" and especialy "Funny Kind Of Love" and my favorite cut "Exception To The Rule" are phenomenal.In fact every track is a masterwork. The singing is the best part and this disc is a must have for anyone who likes testing their vocal range in sing-a-longs.
