Even if I judge myself, my steps will only stop. That is not the will of God, the cross has finished salvation. Not because I was right. God's desire is that I may be free. Blaming myself won't change tomorrow. Receiving forgiveness, my heart is released, in His love I am made new again. When I accept my weakness, the Lord's power is revealed. He draws near to my wounded heart, and gives me His gentle peace. A forgiven heart sets me free, that love flows out to those around me. When I forgive myself, I can embrace others, and in the Lord's love the world is filled. God's desire is that I may be free. Blaming myself won't change tomorrow.
