My debut Chewing concert was at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles on my birthday. The show was split into 2 halves; the 1st half just me playing my second LP on piano. The second half: an improv, free jam; the band made up of some of my favorite artists/friends: Dave Harrington (DARKSIDE, Nicolas Jaar, etc), Spencer Zahn (DAWN, Niia, etc), Griffin Goldsmith (Dawes, Bright Eyes, Angel Olsen, etc) and fellow Local Natives bandmate Ryan Hahn. This is the first release, with the entire concert/EP dropping December 12.Chewing is the solo moniker for Los Angeles musician & visual artist, Nik Ewing, who is best known for his work in his critically acclaimed band Local Natives.
