Kókó Ngbélé
Pepe Link and Kiko Navarro join forces on a new Afro House release that pays tribute to the roots of the genre and the musical influences that shaped their identity in the mid-1990s. The track blends classic Afro House aesthetics with a contemporary production approach, rooted in rhythm, spirituality and dancefloor energy. The project was born organically in Pepe Link’s studio in Mallorca, where a series of Afro-influenced grooves had been taking shape. From the very first listen, Kiko Navarro connected deeply with the track’s spirit, especially through its Yoruba vocal call inviting communion through music and dance. Together, they refined the production into a vibrant, energetic and elegant piece, balancing deep Afro rhythms with a strong sense of musical flow. Combining Pepe Link’s atmospheric finesse with Kiko Navarro’s tribal energy, the result is a timeless yet current Afro House release that honors the genre’s heritage while remaining firmly focused on the dancefloor and the shared experience of music.
