Wish You Could Hold Me
Hi-Lo Jack is a collaboration between 3 friends (Lawrence, Stolen Jars, DAP The Contract) from different musical worlds (soul-pop, indie, hip-hop). After releasing music together years ago, the trio got busy pursuing their own projects: Lawrence went on to release Top 40 hits, sell out shows worldwide, and open for The Rolling Stones, Stolen Jars garnered praise from The NY Times, Pitchfork, and David Byrne of The Talking Heads, and DAP caught the attention of NPR’s Tiny Desk. Now reunited, Hi-Lo Jack returns with their debut album, Group Project. Their October single “Comeback” already has 400k streams, and their new release “Wish You Could Hold Me” — a synth-driven, moody, contemplative love song about the inability to let someone go — is the third single from the album, out this May.
