We are starting of 2026 with new beginnings and a new in-house super duo! After contributing tracks to the Snick Snack compilation “SmåSnacks vol.2” in 2025, Ulf Moen Denneche and Tom-Atle Ødegaard aka Boblebad and Romdrakt, showed up at the release party with no other plans than to play records and hang out. Suddenly they got into a funny conversation with Trulz and Kjex about doing a collab together called Baderom. Boblebad means bubble bath in Norwegian and Romdrakt means spacesuit. Combine the two and get Baderom or bathroom, if you will. The lads decided to give it a go, resulting in the three adventurous and bouncy house tunes you’ve now got at hand. The main inspiration for the tracks was to make something that works at the club, groovy and chugging dance-tracks, with a touch of both Boblebad and Romdrakt, but at the same time a new, and unique project. The method they came up with was to send ideas back and forth, to start with a beat and bassline and then develop the tracks further, then another track, and another one etc. changing between who's doing the first sketches, and so on. Resulting in music echoing the innovations of US house producer Eris Drew, the haunting melodies of UK electronica legends Plaid, a good dose of wry , Norwegian dance floor shenanigans, and a bucket of other stuff. Romdrakt is the stage name of Norwegian electronic musician Tom-Atle Ødegaard. Based Oslo, he produces music that blends elements of electronica, house, space-disco, and techno. He is also known under the name Soul Theory, where he produces beats on the Norwegian Hiphop-scene. Boblebad is the stage name of Ulf Moen Denneche, a multifaceted Norwegian electronic producer, musician, and visual artist based in Oslo. He is recognized for a "stubbornly eclectic" sound that refuses to be pinned to a single genre, blending deep house, Balearic soundscapes, space-disco, and experimental electronica.
