Published in 1933 by Oxford University Press, a compilation of 10 Renaissance pieces arranged by famed British composer Harold Craxton was issued with a title "Easy Elizabethans". In it are works by Giles and Richard Farnaby, William Byrd, as well as three pieces of unknown provenance. Notations and articulations were clearly and carefully edited, and they present high musical values not only to players of limited technical means but an introduction to the richness of the English Renaissance.
