After we enjoyed IZone so much - an unexpected techno outing from the Sheffield based Droid - it seemed only right to kick things off in 2014 with two new takes from DJ Babestation, and Droid himself. DJ Babestation, better known as one half of Squire Of Gothos, or a third of riff-metal band Temple Of Coke, provides a hypnotic, 303 driven stomper. Circling drum patterns and an ever rising acid line make this track perfect for cerebral techno and house sets. To round affairs off, Droid has made a VIP mix, layering angular and metallic grime percussion over the pounding kicks of the original for a more violent, middle of the night affair.
