Being the founder of Equinox Records, DJ Scientist still finds time to dj at clubs, release mix cds, expand his record collection, and, last but not least, produce music. Instrumental Hip-Hop, which Scientist’s music still refers to, has become synonymous for boring music in the last few years, but he proves that sample based production and the need for a crashing drum beat can still sound fresh today. With tracks like "Atarius" and "Autumn Leaves" he continues to develop his own style and raises the bar for the next generation of abstract Hip-Hop producers.
