Back To The Future seem to have set their sights high with their forthcoming release in their ‘new music’ saga. Adding to their 17th EP contribution is Romanian born Mano Andrei, who showcases his next release following the success of his ‘Strange EP’ released earlier this month. Mano begins the EP with the track ‘Strings attached’. Instantly noticeable in its powerful present, the kick-drum sets the themes of this track from the get go. Holding its own, the breakdown comes in to unmask a tone recognised in previous records through the years, along with beautifully played violins. Whilst maintaining warm melodies, the energy continues with aid of its highs and claps throughout the track providing real energy in its presence. Providing nothing else other then a record easily enjoyed at anytime of the day! Following the original, the next track on the EP is British born JMF (Jackson Mudge), with his rendition of ‘Strings Attached’. Providing a harder hitting beat and deeper bass line, JMF moves straight in for the ‘club’ edition to this already great original. Coming back to the table, Mano finishes off the EP with Skyline. This original from Mano shows a different side to his production spectrum. With its deeper nature, the lazy tone seems to be carried by its energetic pace and soothing baseline, which is jointed together with the echo’s of vocals through the core of this record. Perfect to be played at anytime of an evening. With this on the horizon as the next release, we can only guess what lies next for the UK based label Back To The Future.
