I'm so excited to welcome, VONDA7 aka Sylwia Kubicka, to the Fantastic Voyage Crew. She's released music on some of the coolest labels in underground dance music, from pounding techno on Kneaded Pains to beautiful melodic house music on Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint. VONDA7 is a force to be reckoned with in the studio, behind the decks, on the microphone, and on top of that, she runs her own record label too, art | werk records! This EP combines her tough drum machine beats with her gorgeous synth melodies and textured vocal chops. Miau Miau is the euphoric, end of the night trance meets house tune, that will give all the techno kids goosebumps at 6am on a warehouse party dance floor. Heavy Sleeper is even more relentless with the drums and subs but is complemented by shimmering vocals and a squelchy acid line. I decided to remix the latter track, speeding it up into a 140bpm electro tune. All 3 tracks have their own time and place and are great for listening and dancing.
