Roam Recordings hits 50 with the Vacīvus EP from Mexican producer Fausto backed with four fantastic releases from fellow Mexican compatriots Concret, Ali X and Ximena, W.O.L.F. and Tkuz. Fausto, who has previously released on Nein, Tom Tom Disco, and Phisica, delivers an excellent synth driven dark disco tune with just the right amount of thump to work well at both a small psychedelic afterparty or a large sound system gathering. The first remix from Concret who's been taking the music world by storm as of late with both his extensive dj schedule and his releases on Toy Tonics, Nien, and Wonder Stories offers a welcomed breakbeat with a dreamy vocal perfect for swaying in the wind. Ali X and Ximena who have released on Turbo, Wonder Stories, and Shara among others twist the original into edgy territory with growling synths that get worked up into a frenzy. W.O.L.F who have previously released on Never Stop Music, Phisica, and High Pro-File Recordings bring the original back fully to dark disco territory with a big room feel. To round the remix pack out is a dark and dreamy version from Tkuz who has previous releases on Blindetonation, Logical Records, and Sulk Magic. Mexico has seemed to pick up the torch as a cultural center for artists and music lately and Roam Recordings is proud to offer this fine EP as proof of that movement. Mastered by K-Effect Mastering.
