Catharsis (Ancient-Greek word meaning 'purification' or 'cleansing') is the purification and expurgation of bad emotions (especially pity, anger, hate and fear) through music and art in general or any extreme change in emotional state due to a life fact that results in renewal and restoration. It is a metaphor originally used by Aristotle in the ''Poetics'', comparing the effects of tragedy on the mind of spectator to the effect of a cathartic on the body. This is what TECHNO does to our souls and bodies - makes us purge out any dark energy and bad emotion through wild and passionate rave-dance. Who else could teach this method better than our resident act, Abyssal Chaos?
