Continuing on the vibe from the 'Temptation EP', Gabriel Batz delivers the second release on the Ora Recordings label. Initially, Ora Recordings was divided into to sections: Black and White. Ora Black being the harder edgier version of the label for harder and darker sounding music while Ora White was for more eclectic music. Basically, the name of the game is exploring. 'Soledad EP' does just that with two well crafted tracks 'Dejame' and 'Lejos De Ti'. 'Dejame' offers straight up progressive for the dark room. Offering a more stripped down sound, Batz aimed for a simpler structure resulting into a minimal sounding stomper. Perfect for opening sets. Punctuating things is 'Lejos De Ti'. Batz delivers a sublime blissed out ambient track to complete the release. Perhaps he's trying to send a message? Who knows but the track contains a heavy laid back Balearic feel.
