'Romance Today' is the debut release of the Namibian-German producer, Dominik von Francois. A progressive melodic tune, it's characterized by banging synth stabs that rise from under the kick drum and take over your senses. The breakdown in this single is a ringing, metallic melody accompanied by a choir of echoes. Beautifully simple, it's a demonstration in the art of saying so much using a few simple notes played with intense emotions. In response, the stabs come rushing back in, relieving the tension built in the melody and bringing everything to an uplift that leads to a perfectly timed drop. This track is a musical love affair between the different sounds that will get you to unconsciously jump off your feet and dance to the rhythm of the beat.
