Niels Poensgen bounces his next sound with full dash on LOK Recordings with Driftwood, a dark melodic tech-house EP consisting of four original tracks and two remixes.Driftwood reveals a dismal collection of Tech House bangers that combine precise percussion and massive melodic synths. Niels Poensgens vocal cuts add an extra element of eclipse that give the EP a floating and entrancing character. The berlin-based tech-house craftsman Nils Twachtmann delivers a solid remix which is responsible for the interpretation of the groovyer parts of the original Mix. Twachtmann's reconstruction is built on the artistic interpretation of only a few fragments and an elegant, wide spreading sound esthetic. The engineer of the second remix is the Berlin based producer NORR. Who bounced a steady tech groove exploration that fits perfectly to the dancefloor.
