METTA was forged in late summer of 2008 from the five members' common passion for making music, and the desire to inject positive energy into the public through the power of music, while promoting social awareness, activism, love, and peace. The unique sound of "metta-mor-phi-ohm" has underlying elements of rock, acoustic, funk, jam and experimental, all with a heavy emphasis on groove oriented, high energy music bound by no particular genre.
