Someone once told me that my voice is what you get when a person has legitimate talent and the emotional capability to deliver a song with heart and passion. I still consider that to be one of the best compliments I have ever received. The thing that meant more to me than anything was the comment about my emotional capability. I am a firm believer that music, no matter what the genre, should be performed with emotion and also evoke emotion within the listener. Whenever I write and/or sing, I truly put my heart and soul into each and every aspect of the process. I get asked so often to describe my music, and while I am fully capable of doing so, it is more enjoyable for me to sometimes listen to the descriptions others have shared with me. I have been told that my voice is "rocky", "soulful", "bluesy", "gospely", "great range", "powerful dynamics". I just love to write and sing my butt off. It is what makes me most turned on and happy in life, and I cannot see and end in sight. The best is yet to come.
