Mean Streak
Grow began in 1997 and ended in 2002. The original members of the band were Jack Yang (Guitar & Vocals), Rob Munroe (Drums), Mike Lorenz (Bass), Tim Hankin (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals) and Doug Bodden (Woodwinds). This band put out 1 self titled CD in 1998. Then, Grow sadly lost Monroe, Hankin and Bodden shortly after, due to life shifts and changes around 1999 and Yang had to rebuild the band again. The next time around the band picked up Steve Murphy (Guitar & Vocals) and Mike Trinsey (Drums). Under this line up the band put out a CD titled "Farmer's Summer" which the single "Mean Streak" came from. Part of the local Jam Band scene, this group played as many festivals as they could and held it together as long as possible until the bitter end in 2002. Grow was a band started by good friends to play for good friends, please help to keep the pulse of our past recordings alive.
