Who is Floda? Well known as Floda, born on September 5, 1991 by the name of Reginald Andre Mitchell spent most of his life in Kentucky. Being the oldest out of 5 siblings Floda had a lot of pressure on him being the one to set an example. Having a mother from Cincinnati Ohio and a father from Birmingham Alabama, Floda came up with a unique personality which you can hear in his music. Living on the streets for 3 years jumping from house to house, Floda finally got a taste of what life really is/was! He knew the life he had been introduced to at that time was not for him, so he searched for better days. Thats when his motivation in life really kicked it. The first steps Floda met up with a rapper named MaxxOut (bka Keylow Gotti) from New Orleans. He linked up with maxxout and made music that’s was different from the local artist. They made their first music video in 2011 which was called "cloud nine material". With MaxxOut being just as good as Floda......Floda felt like he had to step up his game. He wrote 16 bars in his iPhone about 5 times a week! Floda ran into King Crucial and crucial had a studio in his basment and lived right around the corner from him. Floda got in the studio almost every day for a couple hours and began to get more comfortable in the studio and being in front of a mic. Being an artist Floda traveled a lot and did alot of shows and found out how grimy the rap game is. He linked up with Beata Millz and made 2 singles, which were "Why you mad" and "She Throw". Floda shot a video for “Why You Mad” and started getting noticed alot more. This lead to him linking up with alot more artist and making good music while building his fan base. Floda ran into Hooligan Muzik/ a group of artist who were really serious about having A career as a rapper and dropped his first mix tape under the label. Officially signing with HG, Hooligan Muzik Group plans to launch Floda as their new Flagship artist!!
