The Yesteryears comprise of Paul T. Baker and Chantal Burtt. Paul is on main vocals and harmonies, plus guitar. Chantal plays keyboard. Our love for the classic songs of the 50's/60's most definately influences us. Paul had a full time touring band in Europe back in the mid 90's - they were known as The Harmony Brothers Band - an award winning band that mimicked the close harmonies of the Everley Brothers. We are releasing a couple of albums for public sale. The first is called "Unchanined Melodies" and has Paul's classic version of "Unchanined Melody" in which he hits top "C" (for the music buffs). Not so sure he can do it today though! The second album, "A Family Remembers" saw contributions from Pauls son, Maverick and his daughter Anya. This album contains a couple of country/western classics, including Paul's interpretation of "Ghost Riders" which he recorded in the early hours of the morning from his home in Oshawa, Canada. The neighbours must have wondered what all the animal noises were about! The Yesteryears are available for charity events - just cover costs. We perform for the love of music and have performed around North America, Europe and Hong Kong. We hope you enjoy our interpretation of some of our favourite classics.
