The song progresses from him just spying on the girl, to actually breaking into her home and scaring her. One Bad from Breakdown: The speaker has an anxiety problem. Essentially as long as everything is in order and controlled, he's fine; the smallest unexpected event causes anxiety. The Big Kind: The speaker is pretty noncommital and wishy washy about a lot of things, but he knows the love he feels for the object of the song is real and big. You don't have to justify a feeling. Wake to You: The speaker is going through stages of a relationship, from physically waking to the individual, waking up from dreams of the object, to acknowledging he must wake up from the girl. New to Me: This is about new relationships and two people exploring each other (not really physically- more about their interests, idiosyncrasies, etc.) Everything is new, at least initially.
