Fabled is the first LP and the third release by Budapest-based electronic music band Paperdeer. The album contains 9 songs, 4 of them featuring other artists such as Szécsi Böbe, Skeeny Boy, Le Boum and Zee Will. Fabled was produced by the two root band members, Benjamin Kiss and Norbert Biro, and they also recorded Emese Stewart's vocals in Budapest. 'The album has a diverse atmosphere, mostly dreamy and fabled.' - Stewart said. - 'This title can broadly describe the feelings of the songs.' Paperdeer works with their own synths and samples. Their style is mostly comparable to drum and bass, deep house, and electro. However on this album, they stuck with the 4/4 house beats, mixed with elements of hip-hop, garage, rock, pop, indie, and used both virtual and physical instruments. 'Fabled was a good lesson for all of us. I think we learned a lot during this work. It feels good to look back from the finish line, now we can tell that we improved a lot in the musical spheres and became more experienced in working with new people too.'
