Manchester based duo Between the Lines set out with the aim of producing thought provoking and emotive music. Their music places a song emphasis on song writing, and fuses acoustic music, with contemporary singer/song writer aesthetic and orchestral touches creating a unique yet traditional sound. Between the Lines was created out of the duo ‘North and South’, who when gigging kept being asked to perform their original material. Between the Lines comprises of Katie on vocals and piano and Neil on guitar and percussion. Between them they have years of gigging and writing history and Between the Lines provided the idea outlet for their creative endeavours.
