This album is a testament to what hip-hop used to be and what hip-hop has now become. It is not motivated by profit, only by message. Although it has a lot of Christian content, I have been told by numerous non-Christians that they valued the message, lessons and wisdom in my words. That is why I labeled the mood as “intellectual” rather than “Christian”. This album is for people that have RunDM, Public Enemy and Jay-Z in their ipod. It is not for college students, but the college-minded, who can be anyone from the barber, the construction worker, and the graduate school student. I needed to do this album, because it was like “fire shut up in my bones” and I had to let it out. God gave me the concept for this album and I feel strongly that He has been honored by it. I did not want to be the servant who buried his talent, but use it to glorify Him and further His kingdom. Be blessed and always keep thinking!
