As I tried to draw the sounds and the music close to me I close my eyes silently my soul resting peacefuly Images of travelers in Ancient asia slways florted into my mind I listen silently,my soul resting peacefully I start hearing sounds long forgotten This CD is the product of six years of jam sessions in the homemade studio we created from a basement storage area,when fate brought the five of us together again after many years apart. Having studied jazz in the United States,we have nurtured PENTAGON as a way to enjoy jazz to our heart's content within the context of Japan's music scene. I hope that the energy we have generated during our sessions has been trancelated into unique and original songs. we will never forget the moment of ultimate joy that we sometimes experienced at rehearsals and on stage,when our spirits became intoxicated by the oneness produced by the sound and the rhythm. Though the making of this album has not been all that easy,each one of us made it through the process with perseverance,never giving up,and I am grateful for that. Our imagination and the joy we feel in playing music are packed into each of these songs. Please enjoy!
