Get set for the biggest remix package of the summer - six monster remixes of the all-time hard house classic Bad Boy by Mark Kavanagh. Originally released on Irish label Baby Doll and then London's Tripoli Trax, this timeless classic sold almost 20,000 copies on vinyl/CD between 1998 and 2000 and was featured on numerous compilation albums. Bad Boy is back for 2011 on MK Digital and the ace package of new mixes highlight the DJ's support for Irish talent and cover all styles of hard house. The Hard House Remixes EP1 features a slamming party style hard house anthem from RTE Pulse radio presenter Karl Davis, owner of the much-respected stamps Pure NRG and Trade Up. The mix was co-produced by Dom Sweeten of OD404, who previously worked with Mark Kavanagh on two gems, Hardcore Party and Boomerang Also included is a bouncy and banging rave remix from Crash Test Records duo Raff and Alan Pullen, recorded at their RDG Studios and adding a unique and refreshing style to proceedings. The EP also includes a rare and unreleased 2008 remix from Fireball Records head honcho Ben Stevens that combines acidic mayhem with melodic euphoria to great effect. This powerful mix has been highly sought in recent years.
