It was in 2007 that the Sheffield-based singer bounced onto the music scene with her debut album Watching Me. Not content with just making music, Philippa’s first book 'More' came out in 2008 telling the story behind her songs and her journey finding faith as a young adult. GP Taylor (New York Times Best Seller) believes Philippa to be “one of the most exciting authors of the moment”. Annually taking in over 100 performances since the launch of Watching Me it’s clear that Philippa is following in the footsteps of the of her bassist brother Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, Mark Ronson) by making her mark in the music industry. Not only devoting her time to music, Philippa visited Haiti in 2009 with international children's charity Compassion and has helped to recruit hundreds of sponsors for the charity's work at her concerts since the launch of her 2nd album Taste. Philippa spent much of her time at the end of 2010 in Hong Kong working as a part of the development team for Project Lotus (projectlotus.tv). The project, put together by producer Eliot Kennedy (Bryan Adams, Spice Girls) and Jon Niermann (former President of Walt Disney Asia-Pacific) have created the first pan-Asian girlband. The show will be televised internationally in 2011.
