Tim Jones of Truth & Salvage Co. celebrates the release of his first solo album, It Sure Got Late Early (arriving April 7th on Oakwilde Records). Jones, an Original Hotel Cafe Gangster and producer, songwriter-singer with Old Pike and The Chevy Downs Band, recorded the album in Los Angeles between 2007-2008 including an early version of Truth & Salvage Co. fave “Heart Like A Wheel.” and "Old Piano". Joined by a talented cadre of like-minded California dappled musicians & producers, the album is a reflective snapshot of life amongst the rolling hills, green valleys and sun-drenched country of the Golden State in the new millennium. “I definitely labored over it mentally and physically,” says Jones. “It’s gut level tunes about letting go.” Join Tim Jones and a colorful band of pickers for this first chapter of his solo adventures.
