C-System makes a stellar return to Crossing Over Records with Get Up, a brand new track for the labels 30th EP release. C-Systems previous appearances on the label include the Asteroid remix and a collaboration with Horacio Cruz on Morfogens The Noider, and Get Up, provides yet another fresh take on the labels distinctive genre bending sound. A growling bassline floats over percussive and melodic rhythms with an atmospheric breakdown, and with an energetic final stanza, reminding fans that this Spanish label favourite knows how to deliver a quality tune. Label boss Jason Grey takes things down a notch with his deep and melodic remix of C-Systems Get Up, while maintaining the percussive elements of the original. A Detroit-inspired riff drives the track over lush pads before it slides into the ambient and dreamlike undertow of the breakdown, with a dark buildup and beatdrop that delivers a sinister techno twist.
