TIME WAVE ZERO, a compelling slice of chilled-ambient heaven was inspired by Terence McKenna's hypothesis that everything is rapidly approaching an end point, or eschaton. Interestingly enough, his computer program came up with the date, December 21, 2012. Using my Korg Triton, I wanted to paint some compelling soundscapes, in the background, and anchor it with a rhythmic tribal drum beat. There is an epic undertone associated with the entire "2012" scenario, which, hopefully, I captured in this track. Whether or not, 2012 will be the end of the world, it certainly provides inspiration for new musical adventures. Please download and enjoy this tune. ~John
