Alot of people size me up to be some sort of ballad singer by appearance. I see myself as a diva - somewhere along the lines of a Mariah Carey or Mary J. Blige- it just so happens that I rap- not sing. People who are unfamiliar with me never know what to expect, but those who have been exposed to me once or who have been following me from the start know to expect aggressive, swagger filled delivery with cleverly placed lyrics. I love that when I come out on a stage and start my show, I leave the whole crowd staring in confused amazement. I am an artist that brings a little of everything true to life...a little pain and struggle, combined with promise of better things to come, writing songs about love gone wrong, growing up without my parents, financial hardship, legal troubles...the whole spectrum, everything I have been through, and where I hope to someday be. This project is appealing to a wide audience of all races, ages and genres. I have songs to display my ability to be hard and edgy but most of my focus on this project was on R&B hook/rap verse collaborations with many talented singers from my area.
