WilliamTHUNDA was born in Norfolk, Virginia, The only son of Juanita L. Batson. My parents were divorced when i was four, but I was fortunate enough to inherit creative genes...naturally through my mother and vicariously through my father. I started rhyming at the age of twelve freestyling over instrumentals. Eventually, free-styling turned into writing and, over the years, I began developing my skillz. I came up with the concept of WilliamTHUNDA because today's music seems to be too mainstream and commercial. It lack answers, truth, and realness. The WilliamTHUNDA project was funded out of my own pockets on a very tight shoestring. It has a grungy and dirty sound (The sound that real underground hip hop is made of). WilliamTHUNDA is an artist who definitely does not follow the masses. I write songs, using my lyrical skills, to express my philosophy, to inspire, and entertain. after all, these are the main ingredients of a true M.C. Who is William THUNDA?
