That was how I came to this planet . An Aquarian born in the Age of Aquarius. I know that not fastened well grounded already tuned my ears with songs that my mother played on the piano. I spent the first 14 years of my life enjoying the musicality of my parents' house. Fourteen years ... it was the time it took from the first chords I played that guitar until we got here on this record . And the nine songs that everyone claims to be my ... I say perhaps not . It could be part of this mythological figure who calls himself " Peter Blue " . My Daemon or Jungian Self . My direct channel to the collective unconscious, that melting pot of ideas and possibilities. I confess that I have tried several times to escape him and his tremendous strength. I'm comfortable saying that I fought and never won. I found over time that he has only one desire: to express himself. When I gave myself to him "Black Butterfly" was born. It was a deep dive into the darkness. I remember me and my producers were literally tormented by a black butterfly throughout the disc burning process. Then, as we were working with that energy, all it dissipated. Today, after a year of the end of the process I am ready to continue the work with the disc distribution and playing some shows. I feel now as just another person who sits down to listen to these songs. I get emotional. Sometimes I wonder: how was it possible? When will I be touched by inspiration like that? I only know one thing: my dear Peter, I am ready to welcome you back anytime you like. **** Quando escutei música pela primeira vez estava no ventre de minha mãe. Tenho certeza que era o vinil The Wall. Good By Blue Sky deve ter sido a trilha do meu parto. Foi assim que cheguei a este planeta, um aquariano na Era de Aquário. Sei que nem bem firmei os pés no chão já sintonizava meus ouvidos com as canções que minha mãe tocava ao piano. Passei os primeiros 14 anos da minha vida sorvendo a musicalidade da casa dos meus pais. Quatorze anos... exatamente a metade da idade que tenho agora. Quatorze anos... foi o tempo que levou desde os primeiros acordes naquele violão até chegarmos aqui neste disco. As nove músicas que todos dizem ser minhas digo que talvez não o sejam. Talvez pertençam a essa figura mitológica que se autodenomina “Peter Blue”. Meu Daemon ou o Si-mesmo junguiano. Canal direto com o inconsciente coletivo, aquele caldeirão de ideias e possibilidades. Confesso que tentei por várias vezes fugir dele e de sua tremenda força. Estou confortável em dizer que lutei e jamais venci. Descobri com o tempo que ele tem apenas um desejo: expressar-se. Quando me entreguei a ele o Black Butterfly nasceu. E que mergulho! No começo um tanto sombrio. Lembro-me que eu e meus produtores éramos literalmente atormentados por uma borboleta negra durante o processo de gravação do disco. Sincronismo total. Depois, conforme íamos dando vazão àquela energia, tudo se dissipou. A borboleta tornou-se azul, cor dos meus olhos, olhos do Peter Blue. Hoje, passado um ano da finalização do processo sinto-me pronto para continuar os trabalhos. Pronto para divulgação e talvez alguns shows. Sinto-me agora apenas como mais uma pessoa que se senta para ouvir essas músicas. Emociono-me. As vezes me pergunto: como isso foi possível? Quando serei novamente tocado por inspiração como essa? Sei apenas de uma coisa: meu caríssimo Peter, estou pronto para receber-te de volta assim que desejares.
