Every singer-songwriter in New Orleans has his or her own "Katrina Song," but this one is not so much about the composer's experiences with Katrina (that's another song!) as it is about the imagined ability, as we watch a hurricane barreling towards us, to force the beast away, with thoughts, prayers, or even with our own sheer will.
