Dee & Kamy is the up-and-coming group from one of the Baltic states – Lithuania. Although it was created only 3 years ago, the group has already contributed a considerable profit to the Hip-Hop culture of the Baltic Region. It might seem difficult to describe the style of the music that Dee & Kamy produce. Mainly, the genre is rap, including funk, soul and jazz elements. The music that the group creates is generally inspired by such artists as Marley Marl, Gang Starr, Main Source, Eric B. & Rakim, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane and many more. There are two young men that make up the group: Dee creates music and produces it, while Kamy is the group’s voice and the author of lyrics. Needless to say that Dee & Kamy’s live performances leave no stone unturned, enthralling even those not interested in rap music. They have opened for such artist like: Ja Rule during his tour in Europe, the legendary Sugar Hill Gang, Slum Village, Jungle Brothers, KACTA.
