I was around 9-10 years old probably. I remember this song as my mom would spend time writing it in her car and singing to herself. My mom had a passion in music song writing and used to write lyrics for my uncles to sing. This song was first given to one of my uncles to sing along with another female artist a very long time ago. But it was not finished the way she wanted it to be. Recently, my mom had asked me if I was interested and could recreate and finish this song for her. Because I share the same passion in music, I agreed and had to sing it for her. My mom had little to no knowledge in music education, but she had love and passion for music. She knew how to create magic with her lyric composition. She had multiple idols who she listened to while she lived back in the villages. While she did borrow the melody from one of her favorite classic song, she wrote very beautiful and meaningful lived-experiences in her lyrics. I hope that you all will enjoy this song.
