Oberhofer is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and composer Brad Oberhofer, based in Los Angeles, CA with roots in Tacoma, WA and Brooklyn, NY. "SUNSHiiNE (feat. Shamir, Nick Valensi)" is the third single from Oberhofer's upcoming LP3, 'Smothered,' co-produced by Foxygen's Jonathan Rado out November 12. In describing the new single, Brad Oberhofer said: "SUNSHiiNE is a song about finding someone (or something) that makes one feel reassured about one’s existence as a whole, and keeping oneself spiritually open to such revelations. I have so much respect and admiration for Shamir and feel insanely grateful to have him on it. Nick Valensi (The Strokes) is a big part of the reason I started playing guitar, so it was an honor to have him play a solo on the track."
