The goal of the album was to blend the aggressive nature of hardcore with a more melodic vocal drive. We had no background in Hardcore, so it left us open to try new things and create something more organic to who we are. Lyrically, the album is more a spotlight to the imperfection we have and how we are in desperate need of help. From doing things we hate to not doing things we should, we hit every point of what is wrong with us personally as individuals. In the last song "Kovesh", the title track, we show the inner battle we have with ourselves and how God is the missing piece and can conquer the monster we have built inside of us. Psalm 6 is the scripture being read at the end of the track.
