Hailing from Denmark, Liss got their start with a co-sign from Pharrell Williams which led to a EP deal with XL Recordings. The band portrays a grungy take on r&b and soul which led to widespread acclaim and support slots with the likes of Jungle, MO and Vampire Weekend. Sadly lead singer Soren Holm passed away last May at the age of 25. These songs were completed shortly before his death and are the first release since his passing. The full album follows on June 10th and features Nilufer Yanya.
