Emery Joe Yost grew up in Chicago Illinois and has been performing and writing music since he was in kindergarten. After turning in the yellow school bus for a tour bus at the tender age of 17 Emery Yost went on to launch a performance career that included bands like Last Generation, Final Notice, The Voodoo Kings, the Squids, Karma and other blues artists such as Shirley King. Emery Joe Yost studied music at Columbia College under Bill Russo, Gary Yerkins, Doug Loftstrum and Carol Loverde. Love is Patience was a single inspired by Emery's being away from the love of his life, this song is a reminder that with all human beings and love we must be patient to enjoy the continuum of love.
