Joined by three of the members of Chick Corea's Elektric Band (pianist Corea, bassist John Patitucci and drummer Dave Weckl) plus keyboardist Mitchel Forman and a variety of other top studio players, Marienthal shows some individuality in his solos (along with the influence of David Sanborn) but the somewhat commercial music (all clocking in between 4:09 and 5:02) was clearly recorded with potential radio airplay as the chief goal.
