Sex on the Beach (feat. Breeze)
The lyrics to Sex on the Beach were inspired by Rock The Boat by the late Aaliyah who is my biggest artist inspiration. I was watching the music video and instantly became inspired to continue my career as a singer/songwriter. I began to search for tracks and came across a track called Sex on the Beach by producers Morgan Matthews and Xclu. The lyrics immediately came to me and I finished the song in about 20 minutes. I passed the track along to family and friends to get their feedback and it was all positive. I decided to reach out to Morgan Matthews about the track and he informed me that they had decided to not sell the track. There was something special about the music because I have always felt a sensation anytime I hear a steel drum or a reggae inspired track. Something in my heart told me to hold on to this song. I continued change things around with the song and I asked my brother, Breeze, to add a rap to it as well. We had just stepped off the plane in Atlanta from Los Angeles and I just could not go another day without Sex on the Beach. So I messaged Morgan once more and they decided to sell me the music and the next day I booked studio time and we knocked the song out in two hours.
