Always wanted to make a "Standards" album but with my tenor Ukulele as the center piece. The hard part was in the tune selection. The Great American Songbook had to be represented but I also wanted to include an original tune in "Pathway to Pamela", and a classical piece in "Estudio 17" (my favorite of the 20). Took me a "minute" to arrange that in the re-entrant tuning;) The other solo piece is Charlie Chaplin's "Smile", a sentimental favorite of mine. The rest of the tunes are done in a trio or quartet setting (adding pedal steel guitar) with some old friends of mine who've been on the Las Vegas scene for many years.
