FIRST LOVE was written by Fred and Tom while students at Bronx Community College. Tommy's heartfelt lyrics and equally emotive lead vocals describe something we have all been through. Fred's harmony and lead acoustic guitar add just the right touch of doo-wop and Beatlesque elegance while three enthusiastic young ladies from Inwood, one with a baby in her arms, hit just the right notes on the fade out. Recorded at New York University's Bronx Campus radio station in 1970 on state of the art Ampeg tape decks.
