It may even invite comparisons to Constance Demby's Novus Magnificat, as both play as a wholly united piece. Lush symphonic strings, gently weaving patterns, angelic voices and a light rhythmic force through most tracks create a flawless atmospheric production, evoking visions of great peace within beautiful other worlds. As far as space music debuts go, Asfafa is right up there with Stephen Bacchus's Pangaea, or Daniel Blanchet's L'Harmonie des Mondes, although Fox also integrates influences from European synthesists such as Klaus Schulze or Wavestar in his stunning montage of cosmic synths and intricate percussion work.
