Em describes "Taking Back My Heart" as a floor filling club/pop banger crossing to electro. It's written and produced by Soundstreamers (Christian Oscarsson & Linda Sonnvik) who reached international fame with recent release "Like It Like That?". The single also includes an extended version, a firece and heavy EMD-remix from Mike Moorish and a piano version with the talented Emelie herself at the piano. Emelie says; "The song has that sadness about moving on from a relationship that's gone bad, but feels very empowering. It's the kind of song you should dance away all your troubles to!"
